In one of the most famous speeches in our history,
Martin Luther King said ’’I have a dream…’’ and he spoke about freedom and
human rights.
He fought for something, and his speech still effects
the world- because people still have dreams about almost everything, jobs,
career tore and family are just a few examples. The most people dreams about
traveling, experiences and to make an important difference that has some kind
of meaning to the world. A well-paid job helps to create a nice life.
I’m 14 years old, I like to play soccer on my spare
time and I’m also dreaming about to become a soccer professional. That would be
something to fight for.
But, it’s a big competition. So of course, it’s good
to have split vision. I am also dreaming about to work with people and to contribute
to the society.
I want a job
like a lawyer or a judge, so I could be a part of the Swedish law system. My ambitions
are to keeping up the human right, fight for justice and develop equality.
I want my job to be worth fighting for when I defend
others against injustice. And most of all, it has to be fun.
Of course do I
need some kind of education; I can see it in front of my eyes, years of sitting
there studying. Taking notes, classes and so on. I’ll visit the court as a
trainee. After that I will finally take my exam, what a day to look for.
Maybe after a
few years I starts my own practice, my own firm and focus on human rights and
difficult and tuff cases. Maybe I could hire my friend Ebba, as a specialist or
maybe ask her if she can consider being a partner in the law practice?
Soccer, law and
really interesting people! Something like that, is my dream, do you hear me Mr
Luther King?
This made me
start thinking of the education I need to become soccer professional.
I don’t really
think you need a exam or high grades to be attractive to the big clubs. You
most really love the sport, and exercise a lot. It takes time, and you have to
be purposeful.
The only ‘’education’’ you need is maybe soccer theory. But you learn
theory by the time, so if you play a lot of soccer you won’t need to take
‘’classes’’ to become smart of playing soccer.
I love to play soccer, but it has not always been like
that. In the beginning I only played because it was funny. It’s not fun the
same way anymore; it really is a pain in the ass some times. I hate the
physical training we do like cooper test and so on, especially on the winter
when we can’t play outside on the soccer field because of the snow. The only
thing we are doing is theory and tons of exercises to build strength and perseverance.
You yearn so much after coming out and play at the field.
